Dynatrac axle, Slip Yoke Eliminator install and Misc

The Front Dynatrac Pro Rock 44 front axle was delivered on Saturday. The quality is exceptional.

Dynatrac Pro Rock 44 complete assembly with ARB Locker, 4.88 ring and pinion gears and Foote Forge 30 spline Axle shafts (Superior axles)

This is the rear Dana 44 rear axle. I started the disasembly but unfortunately the new 4.88 gear did not arrive this weekend so I put this ARB differential cover on it to make sure contaminates do not get inside while we wait for the gears to arrive.

The front ARB bumper was delivered, so I got it installed. Note, the Superwinch cannot be installed after the bumper is installed. Warn winches can be installed after the bumper is on. I will be taking the bumper off this week and bolting the winch on then re-installing the complete assembly later this week. You will also note in this picture that the Bushwacker fenders (4.75 inch) look fantastic with this bumper and the outer edge is matching up perfectly with the outer edge of the bumper. These parts compliment each other very well.

This is a front shot of the ARB bumper with the lights installed. The bumper was delivered with some plastic around the bars to keep them from getting scratched. Not that Bill cares if it gets scratched.

This picture was taken before I removed the cat-back exhaust system. The factory muffler will not work with the Rubicon Express tri-link rear control arms. The factory muffler will be replaced with a Flowmaster off-road muffler from the catalitic converter back to the tail pipe.

My biggest progress this weekend came with the complete install of the Teraflex Slip Yoke Eliminator (SYE)Kit. The SYE makes the rear driveshaft longer and eliminates any vibration caused by lifts over 4 inches. Another nice feature of using a SYE is that if the rear driveshaft is damaged off-road, the shaft can be removed without any fluid lost out of the rear seal because of the fixed yoke. You can just drive home in 4 wheel drive using only the front drive to pull your rig home.
This makes it possible to begin the installation of the lift kit. I wanted to install the lift this weekend but noticed one of the Rubicon Express brackets had two duplicated parts. The guys at RE got the new one to me right away, their service was extraordinary. This is the reason Rubicon Express lift kits are the only ones I personally use and the only brand that I recommend to my friends and customers.
